opposing electorate, especially via unconstitutional procedures?
Here's one possibility. Could it be they want to anger the American
people to such an extent that open rebellion, even revolution will
occur, which will then give them the reason to invoke marshall
law....

Stranger things have happened; but for the life of me I cannot
understand fully why they are pressing this to the extent they are.
My greatest fear is that there will indeed be a spark for armed
revolution, and that is not a good thing...at least not required at
this juncture.
